Mactan Island Vacations from $140

I am very disappointed!! My stay was nothing but stressful.. I had roaches, spiders in my and the other room spiders or ants? They crawled on me the bed , toilet, sinks! I took tons of pictures and videos.. Also, they crawled on me the.. they sprayed and I breathed the pesticide all night!! I stayed for a day and half before I decided to leave with the family.. I was afraid for my granddaughter . This place not well maintained especially for the 3rd floor.. they really need to do something about their road infestation.. not a 8 rating .. I talked to them and moved me to another room but it was the same.. spiders.. ants ??

Crimson Spa & Resort is a great place to stay and enjoy some downtime. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding was clean and very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained with a natural flora theme. The pool is clean and refreshing with a beautiful view of the ocean. AKA restaurant features traditional Japanese selections that are delicious and wonderfully plated, some of the best Japanese food I have had. Breakfast at the Saffron was a surprising change from the typical hotel buffet. It featured a wide selection from traditional Filipino to Western selections and the pastries were a feast for the eyes as well. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, we were always greeted warmly and respectfully from the groundskeepers to the front desk, all of them were willing to help make our stay memorable. The airport shuttle service is on-site, prompt and courteous, about 20 minutes to Mactan-Cebu Intl. Only issue I experienced was the shower in our room did not have hot water. The sink and tub did, I think it was an issue in that room only as our companions' rooms did have hot showers. I didn't mention it to staff as it was late and having already spent several weeks in Bohol, Panglao I was used to "cold" showers. When we return next year, I plan on at least two nights at Crimson to experience the amenities in more detail.

My room was flooded with water from the aircon duct above that i have to laid a towel to absorb the excess water. I may slip and fall as i enter the toilet. The water keeps dripping from day till overnight. I saw several flies flying around as i was eating breakfast and one dead fly on the table. I notified the waitress , she came , smile and walk away. (Senior staff) The shower room was big and floor was slippery when wet. There ar eno supporting hand rails which we could hold onto . Not user friendly for old folks or folks with restrictive movement.

I love the staff very welcoming and very accommodating. The place was very clean.
